(oh btw Verizon has no contract plans and more selection of plans with more data and better coverage.) I wanted to keep my number, so Verizon needed to request a port from straight talk. I went over to Verizon and go a prepaid service which is (much better) than straight-talking. I asked if they can just give me a voucher to go to Walmart and get a new phone. I have family that live in other areas and need to be able to get in touch with me – not to mention employers etc.

They said I would have to wait 1-6 days to get a free phone in the mail. I was so annoyed by the fact that they rolled this out this way. If you have to call customer service, God be with you. So, in conclusion, as long as it is working, life is great.

It was so bad I had called Mint Mobile and ordered a trial pack. But finally the universe smiled on me and I got connected to the right person and she had it up and running in less than two minutes. I'm not joking-my roommate and I counted! I finally went to bed and tried the next day.
